Google + Amazon = Mobile Takeover
Yes, it looks like Amazon will have an app for Android that will complete head-on with the iTunes app on Apple’s popular iPhone device.
Amazon:"What do we do now?"
Google: *Evil Laugh* "Take over the world!!!!!"
Boy oh boy, didn't I say google will have to have a lot of tricks up their sleeves? Are they wearing 3XL long sleeve shirts over there? Having an open source OS will afford a chance for ground breaking technology.
First though, they have to hit AAPL wear it hurts, with music. Making a music playing phone is easy but have a program that seamlessly provides multimedia is hard. Amazon could be the one though. Not only do they have a huge library of music, you can also buy movies, audio books, ebooks and I JUST got an email about Video on demand from them!
Might Amazon's S3 web services be the hotbed for the android mobile appstore? Will it even be a store? The happy medium for all will be some sort of profit software platform. The Developers deserve a reward for their hard work. How will Google handle this? What are your thoughts?
